Restorative Creativity aims to help people restore their personal wellbeing and growth from limiting beliefs and negative experiences. To identify what is important to them, the life they wish to live, and the steps they can take to make this their reality. THE BOOK COVERS

As there are three different types of books available from Restorative Creativity, a colour from the colour palette has been assigned to each one. This helps the audience distinguish the three separate types of products and focus areas.

Write Yourself Better Journal

This guided learning journal helps get your creative juices flowing with thought provoking writing prompts.  It will help you get to know yourself by revealing your thoughts, feelings, desires and fears. With the colour palette in mind, I designed a minimalist sun pattern for the cover to represent the positivity and growth this journal helps you achieve. I designed a pattern, instead of a single image design, to differentiate this journal against competitors on the market.

Love & Loss Volume 1

For the poetry book, I kept to a minimalist and elegant design by incorporating it into the title - with the heart emerging from the ampersand. Naturally, the eyes will be drawn to the heart then follow down to the title. As Dusk Pale Blue is a peaceful and calming colour, I made this the dominant colour of the poetry book - and to differentiate it from the journal. I also assisted on the pages of the poetry book by placing appropriate images alongside selected poems to further enhance the readers emotions.

The E-Books

This colour has been assigned to the e-books. The design is the same as the journal, with the sun pattern conveying positivity and growth; this is because the e-books, like the journal, aim to help people grow and overcome any challenges.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

The client required business cards and brochures to promote the business whilst networking.

Business Cards

I included the sun pattern, which is seen on the journal and throughout the website, on the business cards to reflect the positivity of the business and of course for consistency. I decided to have the sun pattern and logo printed in gold foil to represent warmth and to make the business cards stand out and be memorable.

Look at that shine ✨

Brochures

Both the client and myself decided that a tri-fold brochure would be most suitable due to the amount of information.

THE WEBSITE

The client needed me to design a simple user friendly website but the client also needed the ability to edit the content from time to time, so I built their website via an online third party website builder; so the client can simply log in and edit how they’d like. The website had to be simple and efficient to use, so I only included a small amount of pages that were easy to navigate and all remained consistent with the branding. I also designed the website to be compatible with mobile devices.

The website includes illustrations of the sun, from the creative writing journal, throughout to reinforce positivity and the brand.

“Chloe designed our logos, branding, book covers and colour scheme. Chloe also advised and supported us with social media which was invaluable. From a rather vague instruction, Chloe was able to transform our book covers into eye catching, quality designs.Thank you so much for your expertise and for going above and beyond what was expected. I will be contacting you shortly about designs for the next book.”
